Leslie Roberts

Licensed Yoga Instructor

I am a lover of art, yoga, and outdoor adventures. An art teacher by day and an artist and yogi by night. I have been independently practicing yoga for nearly ten years. I find passion in learning as much about this practice as I can in order to better myself and grow my practice. I have used yoga as my go to practice to maintain my health and wellness. I suffer from chronic pain, that at times is debilitating. It may seem counterintuitive but when I feel my worst, I jump into a practice and always come out feeling better and stronger.

Yoga has also been an amazing emotional and spiritual outlet for myself. Four years ago I lost my mother to lymphoma cancer and then six months later my grandma to brain cancer. As you can imagine this was a devastating time in my life, that brought on changes that I had no choice but to meet head on. Through all of this I leaned even more into my practice and can say I am a better, more well rounded person because of this.

My goal as a yoga instructor is to bring a holistic approach to each practice. To help others learn the fundamentals of yoga, understand functional movement, develop neuroplasticity through gratitude work and meditation, experience joy, find peace, and learn to become consistent in a practice that can help an individual on many different levels.

It doesn’t matter one’s experience level or flexibility level. All that matters is a willingness to show up to your mat in order to grow and allow yourself to learn how to listen to your body, your emotions, and your mind.

Laura Erhardt Lewis

Licensed Yoga Instructor

In 2019, after many years of self-practice, I decided to follow my own inner prompting to become a yoga instructor. I feel so honored to have been able to learn under the leadership of Katherine Kilpatrick and Anil Sharma at Expressions of Grace Yoga studio in Grand Rapids, Mi.  They have enriched my life in so many ways and inspired me to excellence in the study of yoga and increased my love for it all the more. For that I am most grateful. I have my 200 hour RYT through Yoga Alliance.  It is my desire that I saturate my students with confidence, self love, and well being which they can carry with them on and off the mat. Namaste.
